Debut Mazda CX-70 Achieves 2024 IIHS Top Safety Pick Distinction

We are thrilled to announce the first-ever CX-70 and the CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid variant have received the  2024 TOP SAFETY PICK award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The CX-70 features the same advanced safety systems and robust foundation as the CX-90 models, which also received top ratings.

To be eligible for this award, a vehicle must earn good ratings in the small overlap and original moderate overlap front crash tests. It also needs a good rating in the updated side impact crash test. Furthermore, a car must have acceptable or good-rated headlights for all trim levels and acceptable or good pedestrian front crash prevention ratings.
